11.4.1.3 Fuel Supply Tank Capacity.

11.4.1.5.6 Each tank shall have a fuel level switch connection.

11.4.1.6.1 Vent piping shall be arranged so that the vapors are discharged upward horizontally away from adjacent walls and will not be trapped by eaves or other obstructions.
11.4.2 Tank level indication

The application of the fuel tank in a diesel engine fire pump is to store and supply diesel fuel to the engine. The fuel is then used to power the engine which drives the fire pump. The fire pump is responsible for delivering water or foam at high pressure and flow rates to extinguish fires.

Diesel engine fire pumps are commonly used in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and other locations where large volumes of water are needed for fire suppression. The fuel tank is designed to be large enough to provide sufficient fuel for the engine to run for an extended period of time.
